Room 7 is made up of 31 learners - 30 fantastic students and their teacher. Our school is situated west of New Plymouth, on the coast. We have an amazing school environment that we really value.
In Room 7 our class motto is 'we choose kind.'
Enjoy looking at our blog and seeing what we have been up to.
Room 7 students really enjoyed spending one and a half days in our beautiful enviro centre. Shelter building proved popular along with lots of games, art and written language activities. A great way to spend time in the outdoors.
Fun times for all today as students took part in the fun run activities organised by our wonderful Year 8 students. Lots of great activities and lots of laughter. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success.
Oakura Students were very fortunate to have Paul Tito visit yesterday with the Ranfurly Shield. All students were very excited to see the shield up close and to hear all about the history of the shield. Thank you very much Paul for a wonderful experience.
The Year 6 students were lucky enough to take part in 4 swim safety lessons all funded by Timirand. Students learnt valuable skills such as how to tread water, boat safety and how to tow a patient. An awesome programme. Thank you Timirand.
We are so proud of Catherine, who entered the Year 5 & 6 science fair. Student's had to come up with a project based on future energy sources. Catherine focussed on windmills and their use to produce energy. Good luck for the judging part Catherine.
